What: Governor Huntsman has ordered that the flag of the United States of America and the Utah State flag be lowered to half-staff on all state facilities from sunrise to sunset in honor of fallen soldier, Sgt. Brandon Thomas

When: Tuesday, May 24, 2005

Where: All state facilities

Why: Funeral services will be held for Sgt. Brandon Thomas on Tuesday, May 24, 2005. The Governor has ordered the flags lowered to pay respect to Sgt. Thomas who was killed while serving on a protective detail mission in Baghdad. He was a member of the 19th Special Forces Group (Airborne) Utah Army National Guard.
