SALT LAKE CITY - Governor Gary R. Herbert expects an internal state review of the origins of a list containing personal information of some 1,300 people to be complete soon.

The 29-page list of alleged illegal immigrants became public earlier this week. Governor Herbert immediately, and personally, ordered an internal review of all State agency databases to determine if the information originated within state government.

Officials are making significant progress and the review is narrowing completion. Efforts are focusing on the Utah Department of Workforce Services, as the data on the list are contained within that agency's database.

Once the review is complete, the Governor's Office and state officials will determine the appropriate course of action. Information may be turned over to the Utah Attorney General's office for its review and possible further action.
