SALT LAKE CITY - A group of schoolchildren will join Governor and First Lady Herbert next week to help decorate a Christmas tree in the library of the Governor's Mansion.

Students from the Reagan Academy, a charter school in Springville, will begin putting the finishing touches on the holiday decorations on Tuesday, Dec. 1, at 10 a.m.

Several decorators have volunteered their time and talents to carry the theme, "Home for the Holidays," throughout the Governor's Mansion will also be on hand to discuss their efforts.

Members of the media are invited to attend the unveiling of the holiday decorations and tour the Governor's Mansion. Interested agencies should contact Ginger Fairbanks at 801.538.1053 prior to the event.
