The State Construction Registry (SCR) helps keep property owners informed of all parties that supply services, materials and/or equipment to a construction project on their property. Through the SCR, property owners have easy access to a list of all parties that are expecting payment and have filed a preliminary notice to preserve their lien rights. Complete knowledge of all parties involved allows owners to utilize joint check agreements, direct pay arrangements, and / or lien releases to insure everyone gets paid and the property remains lien free.

The SCR "Notifications" functionality was designed to provide owners (as well as other interested parties) with automated notifications and access to filing details. Completing the Notifications form allows property owners to access a project's filing detail page, as well as receive email alerts when preliminary notices (or any other type of filing) are filed.

There are four steps required to utilize the Notifications functionality:

  1. Register with the SCR. (Begin the registration process)
  2. Using the Advanced Search functionality, search for your project.
  3. After finding your project on the search results page, click the "Notifications" button located next to the project name.
  4. Complete the notifications form and the associated payment process.

At the conclusion of the filing process, the project is moved to the My Projects area of your Project Tracker. To access the Filing Detail page go the My Projects area and click "View."
