A Track Record of Success

The state of Utah, in partnership with Utah.Gov, has received the following national awards and recognition for its electronic government services:

2009
Utah received the 2009 Silver Davey Award for intelligent out-of-the-box thinking and outstanding creative web development, sponsored by the International Academy of the Visual Arts.
Utah ranked as the best state government Web site in the 2009 Best of the Web Award, sponsored by the Center for Digital Government.
award Utah won a Digital Government Achievement Award in the Government-to-Citizen category for its Public Meeting Notice Web site, sponsored by the Center for Digital Government.
award Utah won a Digital Government Achievement Award in the Government-to-Business category for its Department of Public Safety Media Portal, sponsored by the Center for Digital Government.
Gov 2.0 The Utah Department of Public Safety's Media Portal was a selected winner at the Gov 2.0 Expo Showcase for its innovative project in the Government as a Protector category, co-produced by TechWeb and O’Reilly Conferences.
award Utah.gov received the 2009 Government Standard of Excellence Award for outstanding achievement in website development by the Web Marketing Association.
Utah’s Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Across Government Boundaries was a selected winner at the 2009 National Association of State Chief Officers Recognition Awards in the Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery category.
Utah's On the Spot service and Utah Highway Patrol Safety Inspection system was a selected winner at the 2009 National Association of State Chief Information Officers Recognition Awards in the Government-to-Business category.

AAMVA The Utah Highway Patrol Safety Inspection system won the 2009 Customer Service Excellence Award, sponsored by the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators.
